At first it seemed like any construction gig, owners and management preach of hiring only American citizens that speak fluent english, blah blah BS. the company is full of immigrants (legal or otherwise) that barely speak a lick of english, some actually had to have others translate directions... Yet the Americans they did have employed were lazy and milked the clock every chance they got. they would both try to tile the same bathroom at the same time, instead of each doing a separate bathroom, they have zero respect for other trades working around them. The guy the owner has hired as project lead/management, lets call him Bob, is an idiot... I think hes friends with the owner. plain and simple i dont think hes ever even lifted a hammer except to move it out of his way. He always suggested the most moronic ideas, as if he didnt really know what he was saying, just knew some good construction words. The painter is related to the owner and is completely inexperienced, yet narcissistic. with an airless sprayer he paints semi-gloss trim before the flat body and then blames the drywaller for the sheen issues, he doesnt back-roll or prime bare rock/patches. The russians that are employed do the best work and are the most respectful but theres only one that speaks fluent english so you end up listening to them speak russian all day.
This would be a good company if the owner would actually take initiative and get REAL workers hired but as long as that painter and the lead "bob" are employed it will be a second rate company till it goes under...
(should have kept the Mister Construction name since it has already been established for years instead of picking a very common namesake that puts the company closer to the bottom of any alphabetized list...)
